Position summary: The research intern will conduct data collection, cleaning, annotation, and testing the Taiwanese speech solution in MGU projects and related research tasks; Principal duties and responsibilities: As part of the global Auto Speech R&D organization, you will be contributing to the development Taiwanese SDS (Speech Dialogue System). - Data collection, cleaning, annotation for MGU Taiwanese SLM+eNLU development and NCS Ref NLU development as well; - Support research engineers to test Taiwanese ASR performance; - Active contribution to all QA processes - Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing Knowledge, skills and qualifications – Education: Bachelor or MSc with equivalent research experience Minimum years of work experience: 0 Required skills: - Native Taiwanese speaker; - Fluent English; - Self-driven, good team player; - Passion for quality; - Innovative and curious - "free thinker" Preferred skills: - Experience with linguistics is a plus - Experience with natural language processing is nice-to-have - Experience with python is a plus - Additional Chinese dialect is a plusShanghai
